Missing, found or have pets needing a new home?
Help us reunite pets and their homes.

Lost/Found Advice

Missing

  • Complete our form and we will advertise via our website, Facebook & in-clinic notice board.
  • If your pet has a microchip call or go online to Companion Animal Registry to report your pet as missing. Don’t forget to check your contact details are up to date.
  • Place an ad on LostPet.co.nz. Remember to regularly check the found notices.
  • Facebook has missing pet pages you can post on too. Use the power of social media.
  • Search locally first and check with neighbours. Make sure your pet hasn’t been locked in garages, sheds or vacant houses.
  • Put out water and food in case he/she comes back.
  • Notify your local vets, Council Dog Control, SPCA.
  • Distribute flyers and posters to shops, vets, rescue centres, kennels, catteries, neighbours – anywhere and everywhere.

Found or Have Animals Hanging Around your Property?

  • Check if the animal is sick or injured, take to local vet or SPCA immediately if they are.
  • Go to your local vet or SPCA to scan the pet for a microchip – this will quickly reunite the animal if registered.
  • Complete our form and we will advertise via our website, Facebook & in-clinic notice board.
  • List the animal for FREE on LostPet.co.nz. Remember to regularly check the lost notices.
  • If it is a cat you can put a paper collar around its neck to see if anyone responds. Downloadable collar template here.
  • Distribute found pet notice to neighbour letterboxes and local shops.

Description: no microchip, between 4-5 months of age, no collar

This gorgeous kitten was found in Sandringham, she is very friendly and playful. We predict she belongs to someone but has gotten lost. She is now residing in the clinic. Please let us know if you have any information.

Juno is trying to find a new furever home!

It is with great sadness that Anna is having to re-home her beautiful Bengal female cat who 10 years old, she is a very low maintenace cat who is fit and healthy. She will be best fitted to a single pet household.
